About this mantra
About this mantra
A single potent verse invoking Narasimha, the man-lion form of Vishnu, saluted as fierce and valiant, blazing and many-faced, terrifying yet auspicious, the very death of death. Short enough to be held in memory, it is repeated as japa or recited daily, above all for protection — to steady the mind in fear, and to guard against illness, danger and harm.
